Hello Palm Harbor Chamber Members and Community. My name is Matt Mennenga, and I am your Greater Palm Harbor Chamber President and CEO.

As a proud Florida native and community advocate, I’ve built my career around serving others—first in the hospitality industry and now in the Chamber of Commerce world. My journey has always been guided by a passion for building relationships, strengthening communities, and creating opportunities for businesses to thrive.

I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida — yes, I know that makes me a rare Florida native. After college, I moved to the West Coast of Florida to continue my career in restaurant operations. As someone who loves to fish, I was thrilled to finally spend more time on the Gulf of Mexico, enjoying some of the best seafood Florida has to offer.

When I retired from the hospitality industry, I discovered a new passion: working in the Chamber of Commerce world. Supporting local businesses and helping communities thrive has become my calling. I believe a Chamber’s purpose is to provide real value to its members—whether that’s helping businesses grow, fostering connections through networking, giving them exposure in the local community, or providing access to education and resources.

To me, Chamber membership is a partnership. It’s not a one-way street—it works best when members get involved and invest back into the community where they’ve built their businesses and raised their families. If you’ve met me, you’ve probably seen my drive for positive change and my determination to find solutions that create a stronger future for all of us. At the end of the day, I’ll always encourage people to support their communities and shop local.
